Intro to Jewelry Design - RISD Wintersession 2016
In this assignment we were given children's craft materials where we have ten one-minute sessions creating wearable jewelry pieces. Once we have created our ten quick pieces, we had to recreate one of our crafts into a real piece of jewelry out of metal. In one of the sessions, I cut out strips of simple craft foam and braided them into a necklace. With another craft foam bracelet decorated with different sized pom pom balls that I also enjoyed making within the minute, I combined the two together creating a ball choker that takes on a mix of delicate, patient metalsmithing with an empowering energy.
